Meet the Team

Swim 4U has a friendly team consisting of Level 2 and Level 1 ASA qualified teachers as well as volunteers. Every class has a lead instructor on poolside and a teacher/assistant in the water to give additional support to swimmers who may need it.

Siobhan Mason
Lead Swimming Instructor

I am a Level 2 ASA qualified swimming teacher with nearly 20 years of teaching experience within the UK and Australia. I believe that swimming is an important life skill that is required during all aquatic activities. The ethos of my swimming school is to give all children the opportunity to learn to swim in a safe, fun and friendly environment. My objective is to provide an environment where every child can achieve success, and attain their full potential as a swimmer and as a young person.

Sam Townsend
Swimming Instructor

I am a Level 2 ASA qualified swimming teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I work alongside Siobhan to provide fun and engaging swimming lessons to children of all abilities. I believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim and we achieve this by delivering lessons that are tailored to each child's strengths and weaknesses. We aim to give each child a great skill that they will use for life.
